The electrical machines feature
two main sections:
 |
mechanical part |
 |
electric part |
They both need an appropriate diagnostic approach. As far
as the mechanical part is concerned, we detect
the vibration values, as well as for every
rotating machine, while as to the electric
part, the status of the insulating materials
and their conditions of powder absorption
is tested on the field, in addition to humidity and other
polluting factors, through tests and additional surveys.
These tests (usually called “non destructive”
electric measures) are performed periodically in order to
keep all maintenance service engineers informed about the
actual status of the machines of which they are responsible
for.
So far, we can limit the risk of accidental
stops and enable to schedule repair and service assistance,
obtaining remarkable time and money
savings.
